Polish carpenter remodels home with self-sawn timber from his LT20

Zygmunt Koss from Puck, Poland uses his LT20 as a part of his carpentry business.

He specializes in manufacturing cabinets of solid wood, stairs, doors, windows, furniture, attics, building facades, remodelling and furniture restoration.

For this project, Zygmunt designed the remodel of the house himself, and only a few things were changed by the architect in the final plan. The building restoration was 100% from wood, which was processed on Zygmunt’s LT20 sawmill first. Pine, spruce, and oak were used.

Depending on the circumstance, Zygmunt says that he saves 20% - 40% when he can use the sawmill to process his own timber, and that the sawmill has given him the ability to take on a lot of projects.

Zygmunt entered the project into Wood-Mizer’s 2015 My Project contest, and won second place in the buildings category!
